What is YUUNRI?

YUUNRI is a digital multi-vendor marketplace that connects customers in Germany with independent African grocery shops and vendors. Through the YUUNRI app or website, users can browse products, place orders, and pay securely in one platform.

Is YUUNRI a store or retailer?

No. YUUNRI operates solely as a digital intermediary marketplace platform and facilitates:

  • marketplace technology,
  • ordering infrastructure,
  • payment coordination,
  • customer support communication,
  • and delivery coordination services.
Contracts for the sale of goods are concluded directly between customers and the respective vendors.

How does YUUNRI work?

Users browse products offered by independent vendors, add items to their cart, and place an order through the platform. Once an order is accepted, the vendor prepares the items and delivery is carried out by the vendor or a third-party logistics provider.

Where is YUUNRI available?

YUUNRI currently operates in Germany, with availability depending on vendor coverage in your area. Expansion to additional cities and regions is ongoing. Availability is shown in the app.

Do I need an account to place an order?

Yes. You need to create a free YUUNRI account to browse vendors, place orders, and track deliveries. Registration takes only a few minutes via the app or website.

Is YUUNRI safe and secure?

Yes. YUUNRI:

  • complies with GDPR data protection requirements,
  • uses industry-standard security measures,
  • relies on Stripe for secure payment processing,
  • does not store sensitive payment information.

Who am I buying from?

Products available on YUUNRI are sold by independent third-party vendors operating through the platform. Vendor information is displayed on relevant product or store pages where applicable.

Orders & Delivery
How are deliveries handled?

Delivery services are performed either directly by vendors or third-party logistics providers who remain responsible for transportation and delivery execution. Delivery options, fees, and estimated times are displayed at checkout. YUUNRI does not guarantee delivery times.

How do I track my order?

Once your order has been picked up by a courier, you can track the delivery in real time directly from the YUUNRI app. You will also receive status updates as your order progresses.

What payment methods are accepted?

Payments are processed securely via Stripe, a certified payment processor. Accepted payment methods include major credit and debit cards and other Stripe-supported payment options. YUUNRI does not store or process payment details directly.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Orders may be cancelled or modified before the vendor accepts or ships the order. Once preparation or shipping has started, cancellation may no longer be possible.

What should I do if my order is damaged, incorrect, or not delivered?

Please contact the vendor directly via the app as soon as possible. Supporting information (e.g. photos) may be required. If a dispute cannot be resolved, YUUNRI can assist in facilitating communication or guide you through further steps, including payment disputes where applicable.

How do refunds and returns work?

Refunds, cancellations, and returns are handled by the vendor, in accordance with applicable German and EU consumer law.

  • Statutory consumer rights, including the 14-day right of withdrawal (where applicable), remain unaffected.
  • For food and perishable items, legal exceptions may apply.
YUUNRI may facilitate communication and administrative refund processing between users, vendors, payment providers, and logistics partners where necessary, but does not issue refunds directly.

Products & Food Safety
Are all products allowed on YUUNRI?

No. Vendors must comply with YUUNRI's Platform Policies and all applicable laws and regulations. Prohibited, unsafe, counterfeit, illegal, or regulated products may not be listed or sold through the platform. YUUNRI reserves the right to remove listings, restrict accounts, or suspend vendors where necessary to protect customers, comply with legal obligations, or preserve platform integrity.

Who is responsible for product quality and food safety?

Vendors are solely responsible for:

  • product quality and authenticity,
  • food safety, hygiene, labeling, allergens, and expiry dates,
  • compliance with all applicable German and EU regulations.

What about allergens and food information?

Product descriptions, ingredients, allergen information, expiry dates, and food labelling are provided by the respective vendors. Customers with allergies or dietary restrictions should carefully review product information and contact the vendor directly before ordering if necessary. Vendors remain solely responsible for compliance with food safety and labelling regulations.

For Vendors
How do I become a vendor on YUUNRI?

To become a vendor:

  1. Visit the Become a Vendor section on our website or app.
  2. Register your business and submit the required information.
  3. Complete Stripe onboarding for payouts.
  4. Upload your products and start selling.
Our onboarding team will guide you through the process.

How does YUUNRI verify vendors?

YUUNRI applies onboarding and verification procedures for vendors operating on the platform. Vendors may be required to provide:

  • business registration information,
  • identification documents,
  • payout verification details,
  • and compliance-related documentation.
However, vendors remain independently responsible for their products, services, operations, and legal compliance.

What commission does YUUNRI charge vendors?

YUUNRI charges a platform fee on completed orders, automatically deducted from your payout via Stripe Connect. The exact commission rate is confirmed during vendor onboarding. Stripe's standard processing fees may also apply.

Can I set my own opening hours as a vendor?

Yes. In your vendor dashboard under Opening Hours, you can configure the days and times your store accepts orders. Customers will not be able to check out outside your set hours.

Legal & Account
How are disputes handled?

Customers should first attempt to resolve issues directly with the respective vendor through the platform. Where necessary, YUUNRI may assist in facilitating communication and administrative dispute handling between customers, vendors, payment providers, and delivery partners. However, YUUNRI does not act as the contractual seller, arbitrator, or formal legal mediator.

How does YUUNRI protect my data?

YUUNRI processes personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Personal data is used only for platform operations, order processing, customer support, payment coordination, and legal compliance purposes. For more information, please review our Privacy Policy.

Can YUUNRI suspend accounts?

Yes. YUUNRI reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate user or vendor accounts in cases involving:

  • suspected fraud,
  • abuse of the platform,
  • prohibited products,
  • repeated disputes,
  • illegal activity,
  • or violations of platform policies.
